About Aislynn Flament, M.S., LPC, NCC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. I earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology at Washington & Jefferson College in 2010 and earned a Master’s of Science in Infant Mental Health Counseling Psychology at Chatham University in 2012. While pursuing my Bachelor’s degree, I also took the opportunity to study psychology abroad in Africa.

I have worked with clients ranging in age from infancy through adulthood in the home, school, community, and office domains. I have also worked with clients with diagnoses including but not limited to: Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Disruptive Behavior Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, and Major Depressive Disorder. I have experience working in Wraparound, Early Intervention at Magee Women’s Hospital and nonprofit agencies, School-Based Therapy, and Trauma at the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

I build a strong rapport with clients and use creative approaches to help them achieve their goals. I engage individuals in various forms of therapeutic techniques based on their age and needs such as Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Art Therapy, Play Therapy, and Sand Play Therapy.

In my free time, I love anything that allows me to spend time with my family and friends. I have fun sitting at home with my family and furry friend watching television or playing board games, as well as getting out of the house by going to dinner or exploring the outdoors. I have also always had a strong interest in the creative and performing arts and danced with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre for 9 years.
