Now accepting 7 Years and older for therapy sessions!
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Social Work from Lock Haven University in 2014. From there I went on to earn my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor, who has had the privilege of working in a variety of settings across the mental health field for the past six years. No matter the setting, I pride myself in rapport building and helping my clients identify the motivation to make necessary changes.
I truly believe in meeting my clients where they are at and working together to assess where they want to go. I have had a variety of training and practice in working with those who are struggling with depression, anxiety, interpersonal problems, family conflict, abuse, psychosis, and self-harm behaviors. I have a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults. However, I am also happy to work with younger children, older adults, and families. I individualize my counseling approach depending on the needs of my clients. I practice using techniques from a variety of theoretical perspectives and am always working to further my education to better serve my clients.
I am a fierce ally of the LGBTQIA+ community. I work hard to stay culturally competent and practice from a trauma-informed care perspective. I currently work weekend and evening hours to allow for added flexibility for those who are in need.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending as much time as I can with the people and animals that I love. Additionally, I am an avid traveler and reader. I’m constantly searching for new places to see and great books to read.
