Jordan Heckman, Psychology Intern

My name is Jordan Heckman, and I am a graduate student at Chatham University, pursuing my master's degree in Counseling Psychology. I received my bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University in Interdisciplinary Studies. I'm passionate about advocating for mental health to reduce stigma that exists, and I believe in using a collaborative and compassionate approach in sessions.

I believe that therapy should be a safe space that allows us, when ready, to explore and acquire insight about our patterns and behaviors that may be preventing us from living our best lives. I consider it a privilege to be included in your therapeutic journey and my goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment to empower you to heal, grow, and evolve, as you see fit.

Outside of helping others, I enjoy spending time with my dog, Charlie, travelling, listening to music, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family.
