Jocelyn Dytko, MSW, LSW, NCC

Hi I'm Jocelyn! I obtained my Master's degree from Slippery Rock University in 2022 and have experience working in the mental health field for roughly 3 years. Currently I am a Licensed Social Worker pursuing my LCSW. During my Master's, I interned within a Pittsburgh Public School to provide social, emotional, behavioral, and academic support while advocating for a diverse community. In which solidified my desire to work with a younger population and families. As a Pittsburgh Public School Alumni, I strive to give back to my community I grew up in. I have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Including working alongside parents and caregivers collaborating with school administration to provide knowledge and support in aims for children to achieve academic goals. My approach is client centered, focusing on building interpersonal skills, learning and implementing coping skills, conflict resolution, behavioral functioning regulation and problem solving. Including utilizing therapeutic modalities such as motivational interviewing to meet clients where they are at, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as I have obtained my CBT Certification. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, oppositional defiant behaviors, ADHD, and family dynamics and conflict. Outside the office, I like to stay active as I played soccer for 12 years and to bake for friends and family. I enjoy going to the gym and Pilates, just as much as going to a Steeler game and going to camp in the summer and fall time.
