Jaclyn Schwartz, Psychology Intern
Hi, my name is Jaclyn Schwartz, and I am currently working towards my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Carlow University. I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology and African Studies at Penn State University, with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. My time at Penn State exposed me to psychological research and experiential learning that ignited my passion for helping others.
I believe that we are ever-learning, ever-evolving beings. My goal is to support others in their journey of living happier, more meaningful lives, whatever that means to them! I maintain that the counseling process is incredibly personal and unique. I strive to tailor a counseling experience that supports my clients’ individual wants and needs. I adopt a person-centered, cognitive-behavioral approach with a warm, non-judgmental space for any and all self-discovery.
My work is open to clients of all ages, demographics, identities, and needs. I have tailored experience with children, adolescents, and emerging adults regarding anxiety, depression, body image, and identity. My research background and personal passions focus on social media, identity development, intimate relationships, and comprehensive wellness improvement.
