Cassy Sanderson LPC, CCTP, CSTS, NATC
EMDR Trained/Certified
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my work is rooted in trauma-informed care, with a focus on helping individuals navigate the impact of stress, anxiety, depression, and life's more challenging experiences. While I have extensive experience working with veterans, law enforcement, and first responders, I support individuals from all walks of life who are seeking meaningful change and healing.
With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I help clients process trauma, improve emotional regulation, and build effective coping strategies. Since 2015, I have had the privilege of working with individuals using a highly individualized approach to psychotherapy, recognizing that each person's experiences and needs are unique.
I am certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Narcissistic Abuse Trained Clinician (NATC), and a Shame-Informed Treatment Specialist (CSTS). My clinical experience includes working with trauma and stress-related disorders, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, ADHD, and personality-related concerns.
My approach integrates evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Reality Therapy. I work collaboratively with clients to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and practical-where you can explore your experiences, gain insight, and develop tools that lead to lasting change.
In addition to private practice, I collaborate with organizations supporting veterans and their families, helping increase access to quality mental health care. I also value a holistic perspective, recognizing the importance of balance across mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for a place to process and grow, I'm here to support you. Together, we can work through what you're facing and move toward a healthier, more grounded version of your life.
