Megan Koplove, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Megan Koplove is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of experience providing psychiatric care to individuals from a variety of backgrounds and with diverse mental health needs.
Megan provides convenient, compassionate psychiatric care through telehealth for patients age 14 and older, with evening and weekend appointments available. She treats a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, postpartum mood disorders, and substance use disorders.

Megan understands that reaching out for mental health treatment can feel overwhelming or even anxiety-provoking. She believes that meaningful treatment begins with feeling heard, understood, and respected. Her approach is warm, judgment-free, and collaborative, with an emphasis on creating a safe space where patients can openly discuss what they are experiencing without fear of judgment.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Megan works with each patient to understand their individual concerns, goals, and circumstances. She views the therapeutic relationship as a partnership and believes patients should feel actively involved in decisions about their care.

Megan earned her nursing degree from Shadyside Nursing School and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Salem State University. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University. Her professional experience includes working in outpatient, community mental health, and correctional settings, giving her experience caring for patients with a broad range of psychiatric needs. She has a particular interest in supporting individuals experiencing postpartum mental health challenges.

Outside of her work, Megan enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and watching her children participate in sports. She is a passionate hockey fan and especially enjoys taking her children to Pittsburgh Penguins games. She is also a longtime fan of Sidney Crosby.

Megan looks forward to meeting you and partnering with you on your journey toward improved mental health and well-being.
