Andrea Smith, MS, LPC
Hello, and welcome!
My name is Andrea Smith, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania. I’m dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s transitions and challenges—whether that means adjusting to parenthood, exploring a new career path, or simply finding balance in a changing world.
I earned my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and began my career as a Family-Based Clinician, where I focused on strengths-based, relational approaches and structural family therapy. Over time, I transitioned into outpatient care, where I primarily draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
In my work, I help clients build practical skills—such as practicing mindfulness, exploring emotional intelligence, and distancing from unhelpful thoughts. I take a collaborative approach, working together to highlight your strengths and life experiences and to design treatment goals that are both meaningful and actionable.
