Molly Oross, MS, NCC, LPC, CCTP

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, who has had the privilege of working in a variety of settings across the mental health field since 2015. No matter the setting, I pride myself in rapport building and helping my clients identify the motivation to make necessary changes. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Social Work from Lock Haven University in 2014. From there I went on to earn my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania.

I individualize my counseling approach depending on the needs of my clients. I practice using techniques from a variety of theoretical perspectives and am always working to further my education to better serve my clients. I am trained in EMDR and currently in the process of certification through EMDRIA. I have an active therapy style and provide feedback. I truly believe in meeting my clients where they are and working together to assess where they want to go. I believe that everyone possesses innate resilience and has the power to transform their lives. Therapy is an ideal tool to help someone ready to start that process. My ideal client is one who shows up as their authentic self and is open to the process of healing. I have a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults. However, I am also happy to work with all people ages 12 and up.

I am a fierce ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and am neurodivergence affirming. I work hard to stay culturally competent and practice from a trauma-informed care perspective. As a courtesy, I also offer a 15-minute consultation call. I commend you on taking this first step for yourself. It is my hope that all clients who meet with me feel that they can come as they are, but not stay as they have always been.
